Whereas Remembrance Day is a time to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served; and
Whereas this day should never become just another “day of significance”; and
Whereas Ontarians deserve the time and opportunity to reflect and attend community services; and
Whereas students should take part in meaningful, in-person ceremonies that teach the importance of remembrance and peace;
TO THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF ONTARIO:
We the undersigned, petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to support and pass the Remembrance Day Observance Act, 2025, ensuring every student and worker has the opportunity to properly honour Canada’s veterans and the freedoms they secured.
